Pioneer KURO PDP-6020FD – Before long the New Year will be upon us and Pioneer has already released the ninth generation of its highly competitive KURO line. If you’re looking for an HDTV that offers excellent performance along with exceptional image quality, this is definitely one to consider. The depth of the blacks on this television has received almost universal praise. It is little wonder that it is named ‘kuro’, which means dark, penetrating and deep in Japanese. The color quality along with the sheer size of this model, 60 inches, create a combination that is ideal for enthusiasts who are looking for the best quality possible.
Here’s a couple of user reviews which will give you an idea of what real customers who already own this HDTV are saying about it:
I have owned this Kuro 60″ plasma for several weeks and although it has not yet been professionally calibrated I can tell you that the picture on this tv is the best I have ever seen. When playing a blu ray disc it is more clear than if the people were in the room. ESPNHD is incredible. It feels like you could reach in and touch the players. It is also beautiful in terms of it simplicity and its appearance. Expensive but worth it!
This Plasma is one of the greats. Detail, depth, quality of resolution are uperb. It makes you wonder why everyone is jumping on the LCD wagon.
Honestly, LCDs have very nice pictures in the upper end models, however,
I do not see LCDs being close to the smoothness, depth, and just plain
delivery that this plasma can put out…and Pioneer is the paradigm
of this technology.
